Rain Alert in Delhi Himachal Gujarat Uttarakhand IMD update regarding MP Chhattisgarh

Delhi Weather News: The rain continues in many states of the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain in many states including Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a big change will be seen in the weather of Delhi in the next two days. At the same time, due to the low pressure area formed over Chhattisgarh, a change in the weather can be seen in many states.

While sharing the information, Gujarat Meteorological Department scientist Ramashrya Yadav said that there will be heavy rain in the state for the next seven days. Today, red alert has been declared in Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Bhavnagar. Apart from this, orange alert has been declared in Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Tapi, Amreli, Bota Deep. Yellow alert has been issued for Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Morbi and Kutch.

Apart from this, heavy rain is expected in Navsari, Valsad, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Porbandar, Junagadh, Dwarka, Somnath of Gujarat on July 23. Heavy rain is also expected in Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara and Chhota Udaipur on July 30. Fishermen are advised not to go to sea for five days. The state is expected to receive the highest rainfall of the season so far.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Uttarakhand on July 22. It has been raining heavily at many places in Uttarakhand since late night. In view of this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of the Disaster Management Department. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took stock of the situation from several district officials through virtual medium.

Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman informed that the rainfall in many places of the state is 35 percent more than the average, due to which waterlogging has been observed in some areas. The water level of the rivers has also increased but the situation is normal right now.

Regarding the Char Dham routes, he said that the roads which are getting closed will be opened and made operational within one to two hours so that people do not face problems in commuting. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many districts of Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh on 22-23 July.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in parts of Madhya Pradesh on July 22-23, rain is likely at isolated places in Gujarat in the next three days, while other areas including Konkan will also receive heavy rains.
