Laxmi Narayan Temple in Delhi
A beautiful and grand Lakshmi Narayan temple is located in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, where a large crowd of devotees gather to enjoy the aarti. The trustee of this temple, Narendra Chitra, told the Local 18 team that the foundation of this temple was laid on 8 November 1955. He further said that this temple was built by the local people together. The specialty of this temple is that its upper part is built in the style of Birla Mandir and the lower part is designed like the temples of South Delhi.

The idol of the temple is very special
The trustee said that the idol of Lord Lakshmi Narayan is very different and old from all the other idols. This idol was brought from a village named Khuddi located in Karachi, Pakistan. The Mahant of that place brought it to India at the time of India-Pakistan partition and installed it in this temple. This is the reason why this idol looks very unique. The idols of other gods have been made by artists of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

This temple opens from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm. After this, it remains open for darshan from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The nearest metro station to reach here is Malviya Nagar.
