This batsman made a special record by scoring a century in the second match of the three-match series against West Indies. He surpassed West Indies’ Shivnarine Chanderpaul in the list of batsmen who scored the most runs in Test history, while in terms of scoring centuries, he equaled Australia’s Steve Smith and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.

In the Nottingham Test, England set a target of 385 runs against West Indies by scoring a huge score of 425 runs in the second innings.
