MP Weather Update: Rain has started showing its fierce form in Madhya Pradesh. Due to rain, a landslide occurred in Pachmarhi, due to which a mountain fell on the road. The road got blocked due to debris on the road.

A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Narmadapuram in the state. Due to heavy rains, a wall fell on a mother and daughter in Jhalasar village of Narmadapuram, due to which the girl died. While water has entered many houses and shops.

Heavy rain alert in 31 districts of MP
A strong monsoon system is active in Madhya Pradesh, due to which it is raining heavily. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rain for the next three days. Even today, there is an alert of heavy rain in 31 districts of the state.

During this period, 5 to 8 inches of rain may occur in Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Betul, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dewas, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat and Pandhurna districts.

A mountain collapsed on the way to Dhoopgarh
Due to heavy rains in Pachmarhi, a mountain slid. The debris from the mountain fell on the road leading to Dhoopgarh, due to which the road leading to Dhoopgarh was completely closed. The rescue team is engaged in removing the debris. Pachmarhi received about 4 inches of rain on Saturday (July 20).

Innocent dies due to wall collapse
Due to the rain in Narmadapuram district, the wall of a house collapsed in Jhalsar village of Makhannagar at 5 am today. A mother and her three-year-old daughter were trapped under this wall, due to which the girl Garima Mukesh died. The mother has also been admitted to a private hospital in Budhni.

Water entered houses and shops
People are facing problems due to heavy rains in Ladkui, Budhni of Sehore district. Water entered many houses and shops in Ladkui. Due to water entering the houses, people’s moong, urad and soybean also got wet.

9 inches of rain in Betul
It is raining heavily in Betlu of the state. It has rained 9 inches from 12 o’clock last night till this morning. Due to heavy rains, 11 out of 14 gates of Satpura Dam in Sarni have been opened. People had to face a lot of trouble due to heavy rains. Water entered the lower settlements, due to which the people here had to spend the night awake.
