Ajay Giri, field director of Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS), posted the video of the giant cobra on Instagram, which was also shared by Indian Forest Service officer Sushant Nanda on Twitter. In the video, the cobra was hiding in a bush in the compound of a house. The owner of the house informed the Forest Department and ARRS officials, who reached there. The snake was first brought down with a rod and then put in a rescue bag and left in the forest.
