How powerful is Motorola One Zoom? At first glance…

Lenovo-owned company Motorola’s E and G series target the important price segment and are all-rounders. On the other hand, Motorola’s Motorola One series has many smartphones which are equipped with major signature features. Motorola One Zoom smartphone has recently been launched under the Motorola One series, as the name suggests, this phone is equipped with an optical zoom camera, we have spent some time with the phone, so let us tell you about it…

It has become common to have multiple cameras in smartphones, but optical zoom is not provided normally or easily. With the help of this feature, pictures of objects standing at a distance can be captured without losing sharpness or detail. Apart from 3X optical zoom (and 10X hybrid zoom) capability, Moto One Zoom also includes a wide-angle camera and a depth sensor.

This phone offers more freedom to creative photographers and if priced right, it could be an attractive option. The Motorola One Zoom has four rear cameras, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, which uses pixel-binning technology for better images, especially in low light.

OIS is also provided for 4K video. For selfies and video calling, Motorola One Zoom has a 25-megapixel front camera, its aperture is F/2.0. It also uses pixel-binning technology. Software features like AI night vision, smile detection, frame composition and color optimization function have been provided in the phone.

Apart from the four rear cameras, the Motorola One Zoom will get a 6.4-inch full-HD + OLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and a 4000 mAh battery to power the phone. The Motorola One Zoom smartphone comes with 15 watt fast charging support.

Motorola promises that this latest phone comes with two days of battery life. The body of Motorola One Zoom is made of 6000-series aluminum and the back of the phone also has a satin-glass texture with a brushed-texture. Motorola One Zoom has been launched in three color variants, Bronze, Cosmic Purple and Electric Gray.

2.5D Panada King Glass has been used for the protection of the display. The back of the phone has 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back of Motorola One Zoom has a Motorola logo which works as a notification LED. Motorola One Zoom has been launched at the IFA 2019 trade show.

We spent some time with the phone and found the performance to be fast and we had no complaints while using the phone. We will bring you more details on screen quality, battery life, performance, camera quality once we get more time with the phone. The Motorola One Zoom is well built and sturdy, but in terms of design, it doesn’t feel like a new model at all.

The phone has a waterdrop-notch on the front and apart from this, the screen-to-body ratio of the phone is 85 percent. The starting price of Motorola One Zoom is 429 Euros (about Rs 34,000). This means that whenever this phone is launched in India, it will compete with other powerful models including OnePlus 7, Asus 6Z, Redmi K20 Pro.
