Central Personnel and Training Department will give its report in two weeks

The Central Department of Personnel and Training has to investigate against trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar and submit its report within two weeks. The Maharashtra government has also attached documents received from various agencies in its investigation report. The veracity of the claims made by 2023 batch IAS officer Pooja Khedkar to join the civil service is being investigated. Pooja Khedkar had claimed herself to belong to the OBC non-creamy layer, but her father, who is a former civil servant, had declared his assets to be Rs 40 crore.

Pooja Khedkar came into controversy when, while working as a trainee IAS in Pune, she was accused of driving a private Audi car with blue-red lights. She also demanded a separate house and car, but these privileges are not available to junior officers.

If found guilty, she could be dismissed
