In the election state Maharashtra, the government has started a new scheme for the youth looking for jobs. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced to give job training and allowance to the youth. This scheme is being known as ‘Mukhyamantri Ladka Bhau’. However, in Hindi the name of this scheme is Mukhyamantri Ladla Bhai Yojana. Earlier, the state government has started ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’ (for women) for women.
In the recently concluded assembly session, the opposition had raised the issue of unemployment in the state. The government has now come up with this scheme under which the candidate will get a stipend of Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000 during apprenticeship. However, the opposition has termed this scheme as a Jumla.
