Aligarh court gives life imprisonment to five including Samajwadi party leader in Vikar murder case ann

Aligarh News: In the case of the murder of a Samajwadi Party leader by shooting in Aligarh on 6 May 2006, about 18 years ago, the court sentenced five accused to life imprisonment on the basis of evidence and witnesses. A fine of Rs 20,000 has also been imposed. The court has declared one of the accused a fugitive after he absconded.

It is said that 18 years ago in the political corridors, there was a desire to remain a strong political leader due to political ups and downs. The way in which the youth was murdered, the youth was being tracked for many days and the plan to kill him was completely ready. What was needed was for the youth to come to a place at the right time so that he could be killed easily.

The murder was part of a conspiracy
During this, the youth who filed the case, who was a resident of Barla’s village Paraura, whose name was Makdoom, while giving information about the entire incident, said that about 18 years ago, on 6 May 2006, at around 4:45 in the evening, he had come to the Chharra town market with the SP leader and Vikar. After completing the work, he was about to leave Chharra. Then Mushir and Naseem, who were already present there, met him. They took Vikar to the street of their house by deceiving him about some work. Where, as per the plan, some people, Mujahid Guddu, Khalid, Shan Mian, Javed, who were waiting in ambush, shot Vikar in front of him and killed him.

After committing the murder, the accused fled from the scene in their cars. When he tried to chase them, they had already fled from the scene. The plaintiff of the case, Maqdoom, took Vikar, who was seriously injured by the bullet, to the nursing home in the town. Where the doctors declared him dead. During that time, there was chaos in the Chharra town due to the whole matter. The police immediately registered a case and got the post-mortem of the body done. On the basis of evidence and investigation, the police filed a charge sheet against the accused twice.

The court heard the case for a long time and on the basis of evidence and testimony, the date of decision was fixed on 12th July. On this occasion, all the five accused except the named accused Musheer appeared in the court. The court declared all the six accused guilty in the entire case and sent all the five accused to jail. The court declared Musheer a fugitive and issued warrants for him due to his absconding.

When was the sentencing decision made?
16th July was fixed as the date for the hearing of all the accused. All the five accused were presented in the court but one accused Mushir did not appear. During this, the Sessions Judge, while announcing his decision in front of the advocates of both the sides, sentenced all the five accused to life imprisonment. Along with this, all the five accused have also been fined twenty thousand rupees each. At the same time, declaring one accused Mushir as absconding, the court has acquitted him of the crime under Arms Act. At the same time, he has been convicted of murder on 16th July like the other 5 accused. A total of 6 people have been found guilty in the Vikar murder case, who have been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of twenty thousand rupees.

Regarding the whole case, Chaudhary Jitendra Singh, DGC Criminal, said that the court’s decision in the above mentioned 18 years old case is welcome. Some witnesses in this case have already died. But, the testimony of the plaintiff and his brother was considered strong by the court as a strong basis for murder. The court has given this sentence by considering the investigation done by the police as the basis. One criminal has been declared absconding by the court. Warrants have been issued by the court for him. The court’s decision is one of the important decisions.
