Yogi Adityanath Meeting On Kanwar Yatra: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh yogi adityanath CM Yogi held a review meeting on Wednesday (17 July) regarding the preparations for the Kanwar Yatra. This meeting of CM Yogi was very important before the start of the Kanwar Yatra. The Kanwar Yatra is starting from 22 July. Along with reviewing its preparations, the CM also gave necessary guidelines to the officials.

The Chief Minister has given instructions to the PWD, Irrigation and Urban Development Department and said that the remaining work of repairing every road in every district related to Kanwar Yatra should be completed in the next 72 hours.

CM Yogi’s strict instructions regarding cleanliness

The Chief Minister said, “The entire Kanwar Yatra route should be cleaned. This work should continue for the whole month. There should be no problem of dirt or waterlogging anywhere. There should be good lighting on the entire Kanwar Yatra route. For this, additional street lights should be installed, and transformers should also be arranged.”

Those setting up Kanwar camps will be verified

The UP CM further said that respecting the faith of the devotees, it would be appropriate that camps be set up on the Yatra route to help the common people, where cold water, shikanji etc. should also be distributed. The CM said that the help of social organizations should also be taken in setting up the camps, but verification of the people who set up the camps must be done.

Drone monitoring and flower shower on Kanwar Yatra route

Along with this, the CM has given instructions to monitor the route of the Yatra through drones. He also said that flower showers should also be done on important occasions. Along with this, DJ should be played by the Kanwadis as per the set standards, but the height of the DJ should not exceed a fixed limit.

He further said, “A large number of devotees visit Shivalayas, the centres of faith in urban areas of Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Basti, Prayagraj, Kashi, Barabanki etc. The local administration should manage the crowd in Shivalayas by communicating with the temple management.”
