A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of a seven-year-old boy in Pembrokeshire earlier this year.

Papaipit Linse, 43, is accused of killing Louis Linse in Haverfordwest on 10 January.

The defendant appeared before Swansea Crown Court on Wednesday, where no pleas were entered.

The case was heard in front of judge Paul Thomas KC.

A further hearing will take place on 23 September.

John Hipkin KC represented Linse, while Caroline Rees KC represented the prosecution.

In January, Pembrokeshire Coroner’s Court heard Louis was pronounced dead at Withybush General Hospital.

Police were called to an address on Upper Market Street at 10.44am, coroner’s officer Pc Carrie Sheridan told the coroner’s court.

“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services at the scene and medical staff at the hospital, he was pronounced deceased at 12pm on Wednesday January 10,” she added.
