Airport loaders are tasked with loading and unloading luggage onto aircraft and operating baggage belts and ramp tractors. Each aircraft requires at least five loaders to handle luggage, cargo, and food supplies.
How much is the salary?
Airport loader salaries range between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month, but most earn more than Rs 30,000 after overtime allowances. The educational criteria for the job are basic, but the candidate must be physically strong.
Crowds had gathered for the interview in Gujarat too
A similar incident was seen in Gujarat a few days ago. A stampede broke out when around 800 people turned up for a walk-in interview for 40 vacancies in Ankleshwar in Bharuch district of Gujarat. Videos of long queues and jostling of applicants trying to climb the ramp leading to the hotel entrance went viral on social media. During this, the railing of the ramp also broke. Due to which many people fell, although fortunately no one was injured.
