Bulandshahr Murder Case:After a quarrel over a mobile phone, some people beat a man to death. Police gave this information on Monday. Anupshahr’s Area Officer Anup Singh said that on July 10, the mobile phone of a youth named Mohit was lost somewhere in Khushalgarh village.

Some people told him that his mobile phone was with Prabhat. Singh said that when Mohit talked to him about this, Prabhat refused to return the phone and a fight broke out between the two.

What did the Area Officer say?

The Circle Officer said that when Mohit reached the police station, Prabhat’s mother Neeraj Devi called him and asked him to take her phone from the house. He said that when Mohit reached their house, he got into a fight with Prabhat and his father Manoj. Manoj was allegedly drunk.

The officers present at the police station tried to make a compromise between the two parties. After this, on July 13, Neeraj Devi appeared at the Senior Superintendent of Police office and submitted an application, on the basis of which a case was registered under the relevant sections.

Police said that Neeraj Devi has alleged in her complaint that Mohit attacked her husband with a stick several times. Police said that Manoj died on July 14 while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Death due to heart attack

Manoj’s family alleges that he died due to the assault that took place that day. Police said that the post-mortem report revealed that Manoj died of a heart attack.

He said that the CO found that the outpost in-charge did not inform the senior officers about the incident, after which he was suspended and an investigation is being conducted.
