In protest against the firing incident at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, the doctors of the hospital have gone on an indefinite strike from today under the banner of Resident Doctors Association (RDA).

RDA President Dr. Rajat Sharma said that a patient was shot dead in the hospital premises. In protest against this, the Resident Doctors Association has decided to start an indefinite strike from July 15.

This decision has been taken after repeated concerns were raised about the safety and security of our workplace. The Delhi government is not serious about security. Doctors have appealed several times to strengthen the security system, but no action has been taken in this direction. RDA gives priority to the safety and well-being of all hospital staff, patients and visitors. The recent incident has deeply shocked our community. Until these basic safety improvements are effectively implemented, the doctors will remain on strike.

Criminals have lost their fear of law: Saurabh Bhardwaj

Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj of Delhi Government has taken cognizance of the firing incident at GTB Hospital. He said that negligence will not be tolerated. Whoever is found guilty will not be spared. Security of all hospitals will be reviewed. He accused Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena that the law and order situation in Delhi is going from bad to worse in the last two years after the arrival of the Lieutenant Governor.

Criminals have lost their fear of the law. Bullets are being fired in hospitals in broad daylight. He alleged that sometimes a murder takes place inside Tihar Jail in front of the police, and the police personnel keep watching. Sometimes a lawyer is shot in front of the court. In Jangpura, an elderly person is being brutally murdered in a house in broad daylight. The criminals are fearless. The police has been ruined for political use.
