This feat has been achieved by the students of Madhya Pradesh’s oldest Jabalpur Engineering College. They have made a racing car with the engine of a Pulsar 150 bike. Its cost is just Rs. 1.5 lakhs.

During this, the team leader Mohammad Hussain told that a racing car has been made in just one and a half lakh rupees, which will run at a speed of 150 km per hour. It has been assembled in Jabalpur itself. Its parts have been brought from many places across the country. He told that the parts which were not available in Jabalpur, have been brought from big cities like Delhi, Pune, Indore. The tires of this racing car have been brought from Indore. The chassis material including the special frame pipes of the car have been ordered from Delhi and safety gear from Pune. This racing car can be driven only on cemented tracks, not on the road.

Ready in 6 months
This racing car has been prepared in 6 months. A team of 30 college students has worked on it. The mechanical student says that this car is available in the market for three to four lakh rupees. It is like a formula racing car. It can be driven only on cement tracks and not on asphalt or other roads. This car can run only up to two and a half centimeters above the ground. This car has 5 gears and 4 tires. The length of the tire is about 6 inches. This car is run on petrol. A 4.5 liter petrol tank has been installed in the car. It is called a gokart car. However, some work is still left in the gokart car, which includes color painting and bumper installation.

Will take you to Kolhapur in Indian Karting Championship
The mechanical students will take this gokart car to the Indian Karting Championship to be held in Kolhapur. The students have registered for this. The students say that the gokart car has been made with complete safety. However, some work is still left in the gokart car, which includes color painting and bumper installation. The aim of the students now is to take the gokart car and bring laurels to Jabalpur Engineering College.
