Meanwhile, Kapil Dev has appealed to the BCCI and said that he will definitely help Anshuman.

Kapil Dev said, “This is sad and very disappointing. I am in trouble because I have played with Anshu and cannot see her in this condition. No one should suffer. I hope the board will take care of her. We are not forcing anyone. Any help for Anshu has to be done from the heart. She has suffered a lot from fast bowlers. Now the time has come for us to stand up for her. I am sure our cricket fans will not disappoint her. We should pray for her recovery.”
