Baghdadi Wife Case: An Iraqi court has sentenced Asma Mohammed, wife of former ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, to death. According to a report by Al Jazeera, Asma Mohammed helped Baghdadi in kidnapping Yazidi women, after which these women were handed over to the terrorist organization. The court has found Asma Mohammed guilty in this case.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi became the head of ISIS in 2014. On October 27, 2019, the US entered Syria and killed this terrorist through a special operation. Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council said that Asma Mohammed is currently detained under the anti-terrorism law.

Al Jazeera reported that Asma Mohammed kidnapped Yazidi women and kept them in her house.
