New Delhi. Two legends of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, will no longer be seen playing T20 Internationals in the Indian jersey. The Indian team registered a thrilling win against South Africa in the ICC T20 World Cup final. Virat Kohli, who played an important role in India’s victory, announced his retirement from T20 Internationals after the match ended. Shortly after, captain Rohit Sharma also said goodbye to this format. Now the question in everyone’s mind is whether they will be able to see these two legends playing in the Indian Premier League or not.
In the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian team turned the tables on the losing side and achieved the feat of becoming the world champion. Team India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first in the final. India lost 3 wickets for 34 runs, which included captain Rohit, Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar. After this, Virat Kohli along with Akshar Patel handled the Indian innings. Kohli scored 76 while Akshar scored 47 runs. India scored 176 runs for 7 wickets. South Africa could only score 169 runs in front of the brilliant bowling of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh.
