Baloda Bazar Violence Update: Congress took to the streets across the state today against the Baloda Bazaar violence. PCC president and former MP Deepak Baij also staged a day-long sit-in protest at Sirhasar Chowk in Jagdalpur.
Deepak Baij said that he took the government to task over the incident in Makhoni village of Baloda Bazar. He said that the government has not taken any satisfactory action till now in the case of insult and vandalism of the Jaitkhambh. Huge damage was caused to government property in the violence and arson.
There was an incident of arson in the premises of Baloda Bazar Collectorate and Superintendent of Police Office. Hundreds of vehicles were set on fire by the miscreants. Baij alleged that the BJP government has failed on the law and order front.
A memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister in the one-day protest demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. PCC President Deepak Baij said that anarchy and arson are taking place in BJP-ruled states. Manipur is burning in the grip of violence.

Now the BJP government is trying to burn Chhattisgarh like Manipur. Due to poor law and order, the miscreants committed arson. The miscreants created a ruckus under the pretext of the protest demonstration of the Satnami community.
He called the stone pelting and arson at the Collectorate and SP office of Baloda Bazar condemnable. The government has not taken any action against the culprits till now. Congress has demanded that the government should announce a CBI inquiry as soon as possible. Deepak Baij demanded the resignation of the Vishnudev Sai government over the continuously deteriorating law and order situation.
