A major accident took place on the expressway in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. Here, a bus carrying pilgrims going to Chhattisgarh after visiting Vaishno Devi in Jammu went out of control and overturned. The incident caused a lot of commotion on the spot. When people saw it, they informed the police. With the help of nearby people, people were taken out of the bus. Two people including a girl died in the accident. While about 35 devotees are injured. It is being said that the accident happened due to the driver dozing off.
The accident took place near kilometer number 51 in Nasirpur police station area on the expressway. On May 28, a bus full of devotees went from Chhattisgarh to visit Maa Vaishno Devi in Jammu. All 65 people in the bus were residents of Chhattisgarh. The devotees had reached Vrindavan after visiting Maa Vaishno Devi. From here, they left for Chhattisgarh via Prayagraj at around 1 o’clock last night.
