Huawei has launched Huawei Nova Y62 series smartphones in South Africa. The new mid-range smartphone lineup includes two models namely the Nova Y62 and the Nova Y62 Plus. Here we are telling you in detail about the features and specifications of both Huawei smartphones, from price etc.

The price of Huawei Nova Y62 and Y62 Plus has not been revealed yet. Both these smartphones will be available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black in South Africa.

Features and specifications of Huawei Nova Y62, Nova Y62 Plus

Huawei Nova Y62 and Huawei Y62 Plus feature a 6.52-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Both smartphones work on octa-core processors. Nova Y62 has 4GB RAM, while Y62 Plus has 8GB RAM. Both smartphones have 128GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. Both these smartphones have a 5,000mAh battery which supports 22.5W fast charging.

A 5-megapixel selfie camera is provided on the front of Nova Y62 and Y62 Plus. The rear of both of them includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Nova Y62 series works on EMU 12 based on Android 12. The smartphones have Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) onboard, but do not have Google Mobile Services. Other connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This smartphone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
