The doors of the Second Kedar Lord Madmaheshwar Temple will be closed for the winter season on Wednesday morning at 8 am with special worship on the auspicious ascendant. BKTC and its rights holders have completed all preparations for the closure of the doors of the temple.
With the help of donors, the temple has been decorated with five quintals of flowers. As soon as the doors are closed, the second Kedar Madmaheshwar will leave for the winter seat of Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, sitting in a mobile Utsav Doli, circling the temple and inspecting his copper vessels.
After this he will reach Goundar village for the first night stay. Where the villagers will offer mass prayers to their idol. The doli will reach Ransi village on 23rd November. Whereas on 25th she will be seated in the winter seat.
