Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu On Warrant: The International Criminal Court on Thursday (21 November 2024) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant over the war in Gaza. But after this, Netanyahu’s office issued a statement calling it ‘anti-Semitic’.
“The anti-Semitism verdict of the International Criminal Court is like a modern-day Dreyfus case and it will end the same way,” the Israeli PM’s office said in a statement after the ICC issued an arrest warrant over crimes in Gaza.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant on 21 November 2024. Both leaders are accused of deliberately depriving the citizens of Gaza of food, water, electricity, fuel and medical supplies between 8 October 2023 and 20 May 2024. Accusations have also been made of stopping and obstructing humanitarian aid. Apart from this, the allegations also include depriving the people of Gaza of their basic rights on political and national grounds.
Gaza civilians, especially children, are accused of being forced to die due to starvation and lack of medical supplies. Apart from this, it has been alleged that doctors were forced to perform surgeries without anesthesia, due to which the patients had to suffer extreme pain.
