Pakistani in Saudi Arabia : Now Pakistan has come on line regarding Pakistani beggars in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh has expressed displeasure regarding Pakistani beggars, which has put Pakistan at its wit’s end. After Saudi’s displeasure, Pakistan’s Shahbaz Sharif government has assured them that Pakistan will take effective steps to end the network that sends beggars from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. On Wednesday (November 20), a meeting was held between Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Interior Minister Nasirq bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood and Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. In this meeting, ministers of both the countries discussed the beggar gang and also considered steps to end it.

Describing the efforts made by Pakistan to break the network of beggars, Pakistan’s Home Minister told the Saudi Deputy Minister, ‘Islamabad is adopting the policy of zero tolerance in this matter.’ Regarding this, Pakistan has kept 4300 people in the Exit Control List (ECL). The people kept in this list have been stopped from going abroad.

Pakistanis go to Saudi Arabia and beg in the name of Hajj and Umrah.

In fact, the number of Pakistani beggars going to Saudi Arabia in the name of Hajj and Umrah is increasing. Regarding which Saudi Arabia had recently expressed its displeasure. Saudi officials had also warned Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs to take action against beggars coming to Saudi Arabia in view of these visas.

When Saudi expressed displeasure, Pakistan took action

After the strict warning from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s Shahbaz Sharif government has now started taking action to reduce its anger. Shahbaz government minister Mohsin Naqvi gave this information to the Deputy Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani minister said that the Pakistan government is taking nationwide action to stop the beggar mafia. Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Ministry has decided to take strict action against beggars.
