UP Air Pollution AQI level comes Above 300 in noida ghaziabad cold weather also increased

UP Air Pollution: As the month of November progresses, the cold has started increasing in UP. The minimum temperature has decreased by 3 degrees in the last 24 hours. Now people are feeling cool even during the day. The minimum temperature reached 10 degrees Celsius in many districts on Tuesday. With the increase in winters, pollution in the air has also made it difficult for people to breathe. There was a slight improvement in the air in cities like Noida and Ghaziabad on Tuesday, but the danger has not gone away.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in UP today, during which there is a possibility of light to moderate fog in many districts in the morning. Dense fog may remain in many areas of eastern UP during night. Similar weather was predicted till 26th November. After this the winter season will start showing its colors.

Dense fog alert in many areas
In Uttar Pradesh today, on November 21, an alert has been issued regarding dense fog in the surrounding areas including Azamgarh, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar and Sultanpur. In the last 24 hours, the lowest minimum temperature reached 10 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarnagar. The minimum temperature in the capital Lucknow was recorded at 11.8 degrees whereas in Meerut, Fursatganj, Najibabad, Bulandshahr the temperature remained around 10 degrees.

Air pollution hits with cold
With increasing cold, people in UP are also facing double attack of pollution. With the changed weather the air has also become poisonous. The blanket of dust and smog has engulfed many big cities of the state. Recently the level of air pollution had reached 450. Although there is a slight improvement in the air today, the AQI level of the air still remains at a dangerous level.

On Thursday, the level of air pollution in Noida and Ghaziabad has come down to 400, but the problem has still not reduced. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, AQI level of 330 was recorded in the air in Noida today. The AQI level in Ghaziabad was recorded at 399 at 8 am today. Pollution levels have also reduced in Meerut and Hapur cities today.

Due to increased air pollution in Noida and Ghaziabad, Grape 4 has been implemented. Due to which schools have been closed in these districts till 23 November. People are having trouble breathing due to pollution. At the same time, one is also facing burning sensation in the eyes and other types of problems.
