Iran Court’s Order on Viral University Girl: The court of Iran has given its verdict on Ahou Daryaei, a student who took off her clothes and roamed around in only undergarments in an Iranian university campus. The court has released the student from the court. Iran’s court, while giving its verdict on this matter on Tuesday (November 19), said that no case will be filed against the student who roamed around in underwear in Tehran University.

The court gave this reason behind the decision

The court gave the reason behind its decision that the student Ahau Daryaei had done this due to illness, hence no case should be filed against her. Judiciary spokesperson Asghar Jahangir said, ‘The student was sent to the hospital and doctors confirmed that she was ill. Keeping this in mind, the student has been handed over to her family and no judicial case has been registered against her.

Reports were presented before the court according to which the student was not mentally healthy due to family problems. People close to the student and her fellow students had also noticed signs of abnormal behavior in her earlier.

In the beginning of this November, the video of a student named Ahou Daryaei had gone viral in Iran. In the viral video, the student was seen roaming in only undergarments in the Islamic Azad University of Tehran. After this video went viral, this video was discussed all over the world.

Actually, student Ahou Daryaei had protested against Islamic clothes in the university campus. After this, the university security violently stopped the student. Protesting against this, the student had taken off all her clothes in the campus itself and started protesting by roaming around the campus. After this the student was taken into custody.

After the video surfaced, Amnesty International appealed to the Iranian authorities to immediately release the student. He had also tweeted from his official X account. Amnesty International wrote in its tweet that until the student’s release, authorities should protect her from all torture and other ill-treatment and ensure that she is able to contact her family and a lawyer.
