Giving clarification on the cash scandal, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde said, “A meeting of workers was going on in Nalasopara assembly constituency. What are the rules including voting day and conduct. I had reached there to tell what happens in polling. The opposition Felt like I was distributing money, whoever wants to get the test done, get it done.”
Election Commission should conduct impartial investigation – Tawde
He said, “The workers of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi, Kshitij thought that we were distributing money. Let the Election Commission and the police investigate, I have been in the party for 40 years, the entire party knows me. Still, I believe that the Election Commission should conduct an impartial investigation.
VBA workers accused of distributing money
Let us tell you that just a day before the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi made serious allegations against BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawade. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi MLA Kshitij Thakur and his workers allege that Vinod Tawde had come to distribute money before the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
After this, Vinod Tawde was surrounded by Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers in Nalasopara assembly constituency of Palghar and created a ruckus. However, veteran BJP leader Tawde has completely rejected these allegations.
