Veteran batsman Rishabh Pant broke his silence on parting ways with Delhi Capitals and said that there was no talk between the two parties regarding money. Pant responded to a post by one of the IPL broadcasters, in which Sunil Gavaskar was explaining why Delhi did not retain their captain ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. In the video, Gavaskar says that there may not have been an agreement between Delhi Capitals and Rishabh Pant on the retention money. He also speculated that the Capitals would look to buy back Pant in the mega auction to be held on November 24 and 25.
