Brijesh, son of a carpenter family, originally from Bijapur and settled in Shivam Residency in Hanspura area of ​​Naroda, left home on October 26 with Rs 3000 from his mother due to financial constraints. He said he was going to work, but never returned. The worried mother called him, but got no response. When no trace of Brijesh was found, the family lodged a missing report at Naroda Police Station.

Identification and cremation of the body
On the morning of 4 November, the body of an unknown youth was found in the Sabarmati river. On November 10, the police called the family to identify the body. The family members identified the body as that of Brijesh and took it to Bijapur for cremation. The family thought they had lost their son and completed his last rites.

Meanwhile, when Brijesh ran out of money, he borrowed a phone from a stranger and called his friend. He told that he wants to go to Haridwar and become a monk and is currently living with his mother in Bhuj. He asked a friend to borrow money, which made the friend suspicious. The friend immediately told this to Brijesh’s family. After this the family went to Bhuj and searched for Brijesh. The family was surprised to see their son alive and a wave of happiness ran through the house.
