Gujarat A case has come to light from Mehsana district, which shocked the entire country. This incident in Naroda area of Ahmedabad forced people to think as if it was a story from a movie. After finding the dead body of a young man who had been missing for a month, the family cremated him considering it to be the body of their son. But when the son’s throne was placed, the same son returned home alive. This matter has now become a matter of in-depth investigation, because till now it is not clear who was the person whose last rites were performed.
Financial crisis and son leaving home
Brijesh, son of a carpenter family, originally from Bijapur and settled in Shivam Residency in Hanspura area of Naroda, left home on October 26 with Rs 3000 from his mother due to financial constraints. He said he was going to work, but never returned. The worried mother called him, but got no response. When no trace of Brijesh was found, the family lodged a missing report at Naroda Police Station.
Identification and cremation of the body
On the morning of 4 November, the body of an unknown youth was found in the Sabarmati river. On November 10, the police called the family to identify the body. The family members identified the body as that of Brijesh and took it to Bijapur for cremation. The family thought they had lost their son and completed his last rites.
Brijesh’s return and new twist in the story
Meanwhile, when Brijesh ran out of money, he borrowed a phone from a stranger and called his friend. He told that he wants to go to Haridwar and become a monk and is currently living with his mother in Bhuj. He asked a friend to borrow money, which made the friend suspicious. The friend immediately told this to Brijesh’s family. After this the family went to Bhuj and searched for Brijesh. The family was surprised to see their son alive and a wave of happiness ran through the house.
The question of dead body became a mystery
However, this incident has created a big puzzle. Who was the person whose body was cremated by the family? This question is still seeking answer. Riverfront West Police and Naroda Police are jointly investigating this matter in depth.
