Bharatiya Janata Party called it an insult to Hindus and said that Hindu society will never accept it. BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that these people give such statements to provoke the society. He also raised questions about the opposition’s silence on this matter.

SP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that this statement of AIMIM UP Chief Shaukat Ali shows the same poisonous ideology through which AIMIM continuously makes such statements to instigate the society and increase divisive forces. The entire opposition is silent on this statement of Shaukat Ali.

BJP targeted Shaukat Ali
The BJP leader said that neither Congress nor SP condemns this inflammatory statement of AIMIM. Because somewhere there is a common minimum program of SP-Congress that polarization can happen in the society, religious mobilization can happen and Hindus can be insulted again and again. He asked why SP and Congress are silent on the kind of indecent remarks Shaukat Ali has made against Kavad Yatris? Hindu society will never accept this. The entire opposition is united in insulting Hindus.

Let us tell you that Shaukat Ali, while addressing a public meeting in Kundarki, had made controversial remarks about Kavadis. He said that Kavadis have fun during the Kavad Yatra, create ruckus by smoking and drinking alcohol. He said that if we offer Namaz on the road for two minutes, there is noise. Namaz has been offered… These roads do not belong to anyone’s father that in the name of Kanwar Yatra, the police closes the roads for two months and showers flowers on them.

He said that these people smoke, drink alcohol, create ruckus, even break vehicles and our policemen apply ointment on their feet. Flowers are showered from helicopters.
