How to Add Location in Google Maps know step by step process

Google Maps is a very useful app today. If you want to go somewhere and do not know the way to go there, then you can reach there with the help of Google Maps. Whether you need the address of a restaurant, want to reach an office or want to go from one city to another, Google Maps is useful for all these tasks. You must have seen many locations on Google Maps, then this question must have come in your mind that how these locations have been added on Google Maps. If you also want to add the location of your office, shop, gym or home on Google Maps, then here we are telling you the step by step method.

If you want to add your location on Google Maps, then this is the easy way:

First of all you have to open Google Maps in your device.

Now you have to click on the Current Location tab given below on the right side.

After this your current location will start showing on Google Maps.

Now you have to click on the Contribute tab with the plus icon.

Now you have to click on Add Place from the options visible at the top.

Now you have to enter some information like name, ad category (can search from the list), ad address (can be done by going to maps and at manual level) and timings (on which day it opens and for how long it remains open) etc. Have to do. Apart from this, if you have any website, phone number or some photos, you can enter these also.

Now by going below and clicking on submit, the location will be added.

If you want to check whether your location has been added or not, then for that you have to go to Google Maps again.

Here you will see your photo on the top right side, click on it.

After clicking on the photo, you have to click on your profile.

Now you have to click on Edits at the bottom.

Here you will see the status whether your location is accepted, rejected or pending.

If your location is accepted, you will see it after a few hours by searching in the search bar of Google Maps.
