Najafgarh MLA Kailash Gehlot joined BJP on Monday. Manohar Lal Khattar has given membership to Kailash Gehlot in BJP headquarters. During this time many senior leaders of Delhi BJP were present there. Kailash Gehlot had resigned from AAP’s primary membership and ministerial post on Sunday itself.
Kailash Gehlot took oath as Transport Minister in Delhi Government for the first time on 19 February 2015. After that he was made a minister for three consecutive terms. Before resigning, Kailash Gehlot wrote a letter to Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and made serious allegations against the party.
In a letter to Kejriwal, Gehlot said that at present the Aam Aadmi Party is going through serious challenges. Political ambitions in the party have overshadowed our commitment to the people, leaving many promises unfulfilled.
Which the party had done to the people of Delhi. The dream of cleaning Yamuna could not be fulfilled. Yamuna is now more polluted than before. Apart from this, many strange controversies like Sheesh Mahal (Chief Minister’s residence) came to light. This tarnished the image of the party. Questions are being raised whether people trust the party. Instead of fighting for the rights of the people, the parties are only fighting for their political agenda.
