Murder In Hardoi: On Saturday, the police disclosed the case of murder of a child in a sugarcane field in Shahabad Kotwali area of Hardoi. In which one accused has been arrested. During police interrogation, the accused has confessed to killing the child by strangulation. Police say that Ayush was snatched from the son of the accused for five rupees. During this time, Ayush got injured due to falling on the mortar. Meanwhile, Ayush’s friend’s father picked him up and instead of taking him to the hospital, he strangled him to death. The body was thrown in the sugarcane field. The police have arrested the accused.
Disclosing this blind murder, ASP Martand Prakash Singh said that Netram, a resident of Lalpur village of Shahabad Kotwali area, had filed a complaint in Shahabad Kotwali. In which it was told that his 11 year old son Ayush was going home after playing in Ambedkar Park located outside the village on 18 October 2024. Just then he disappeared. After this, the police had registered a missing complaint on the basis of the complaint.
The dead body was recovered from the sugarcane field
On October 23, 2024, the police recovered Ayush’s body from a sugarcane field near Lalpur village. After this the post mortem was conducted. The post mortem report confirmed murder by strangulation. After which the police started investigating the entire matter. Meanwhile, Chhotalal of the same village was detained by the police due to his suspicious role. During interrogation, accused Chhotalal told that his son Vinod was playing with Ayush. Ayush had won Rs 5 from Vinod in the game itself. Due to which Ayush snatched Rs 5 from Vinod and ran away.
At that time, due to injury to Ayush’s leg, he fell on a brick and became unconscious. Seeing this, Chhotalal picked up Ayush and took him to his home, but Ayush did not regain consciousness. Then Chhotalal felt that his son Vinod might get trapped. Due to this fear, Ayush was taken to a sugarcane field near the village and strangled to death. The body was hidden in a sugarcane field.
