South Africa’s Tabrez Shamsi posted a post on social media on Sunday. He wrote, ‘Interesting data. Jasprit Bumrah and I have played equal number of T20I matches. Both have bowled equal number of balls and have also taken equal number of wickets. What an amazing coincidence. Let us tell you that Jasprit Bumrah has played 70 T20 International matches. He has bowled 1509 balls in these matches and taken 89 wickets. African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has also taken 89 wickets by bowling 1509 balls in 70 T20I matches.
Jasprit Bumrah is on Australia tour these days. Bumrah will be seen captaining India in the first test match to be held from 22nd November. He has played 40 test matches. He has taken 173 wickets in these matches. In ODI matches, he has 149 wickets in 89 matches. Tabrez Shamsi has 6 wickets in 2 Tests and 72 wickets in 51 ODIs.
