New Delhi. Team India captain Rohit Sharma has been blessed with a son Ratna. Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh has given birth to a son. A day after the birth of his son, Rohit expressed his happiness by sharing a photo on Instagram. There are now four members in Rohit’s family. Due to this, Rohit did not leave for Australia with Team India. It was not certain that he would play in the first Test match of the series against Australia. But after the birth of his son, Rohit is expected to reach Australia soon. In the press conference a day before Team India’s departure for Australia, when head coach Gautam Gambhir was asked about Rohit playing in the first Test against Australia, Gambhir had said about the Hitman’s availability that it is expected. It is said that Rohit will be available for the Perth Test and will join Team India before the start of the series.
Rohit Sharma shared an animated photo on Instagram on Saturday afternoon. He captioned the photo, ‘Family, where we became 4 members. Rohit has also written the date of birth of his son as 15.11.2024. In the animated photo it is shown that the parents are looking very happy with the newborn on the sofa. Rohit and Ritika already have a daughter named Samaira. Samaira was born in 2018. While sharing Rohit’s photo, his fans along with the veteran cricketers are congratulating him.
Rohit can fly to Australia soon
Rohit Sharma can now fly to Australia. The first test of Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played from 22nd November. Team India will play the first test match in Perth.
