Pro-Khalistani Claim Over Canada: A video of Khalistan supporters has surfaced in Canada in which they are calling white Canadian citizens as “infiltrators” and demanding them to leave the country. In this video viral on social media, Khalistan supporters are seen advising Canadian citizens to go back to England and Europe. This incident occurred during a city kirtan in Surrey, British Columbia.
Khalistan supporters are also seen in the video saying, “We own Canada” and white people should “go back to Europe and Israel.” The video was shared on ‘X’ by a local journalist, Daniel Boardman, in which the two-minute clip claimed that Khalistani supporters have claimed ownership of Canada and branded white Canadians as “infiltrators”.
Questions arising on citizenship and rights
In the video, Khalistani flags were prominently displayed by Khalistan supporters instead of Canadian flags and some protesters were seen openly making statements that they have rights in Canada. This controversial incident has become the cause of new debate regarding the Khalistani movement in Canada, where this movement has already become a matter of concern among the government and the general public.

Complications in relations between Canada and India
A large number of people of Indian origin live in Canada. But despite this, relations between India and Canada have taken a tense turn in recent months. There are deep differences between the two countries regarding the activities of pro-Khalistan elements. India has objected to the activism of Khalistani groups in Canada, while Canada has considered these activities within the scope of freedom of expression under its domestic policies. But now these Khalistan supporters are creating havoc in Canada itself.
