Protest of candidates continues outside the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) office in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Today is the third day of the candidates’ strike. They are demanding that PCS and RO/ARO examinations be conducted in one day and one shift. Rapid Action Force (RAF) and police personnel are present at the spot.

Earlier, on Tuesday, at the protest site in Prayagraj, this slogan kept resonating amidst the noise of drums and concussions – ‘Jantege aur jeetenge bhi’. The candidates also released the rate list of the posts through posters, taunting the Commission against normalization.




The period of pride continued throughout the day

Earlier on Tuesday morning, Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba reached among the candidates and told the candidates that he too had once been a competitive student. No one is above the rules and regulations. He advised the candidates to get up in front of the Commission and go with them to the protest site at Civil Lines, because the road has been closed due to this and the common people are facing problems.


‘Neither will sleep nor will let you sleep’

The Commissioner said that proper arrangements will be made for the candidates at the protest site. However, the candidates got angry and said that now they will not go anywhere.

Thousands of candidates again reached the protest site by 11 am. Different groups of candidates reached in their own style. Some arrived singing and dancing with drums, while others arrived with a symbolic funeral procession. There was noise of drums and drums throughout the day in front of the Commission. The candidates said that they will neither sleep nor allow anyone to sleep.


Written on the road, ‘We students have only one wish, exams should be held in one shift’

Many candidates were seen holding posters on which it was written, ‘First come first serve’. If normalization is applicable then rate list- SDM 70 lakh, Deputy SP 65 lakh, ARTO 60 lakh, BSA 55 lakh, PCS J 70 lakh. UPI and online payment accepted. Similarly, it was written on the road in front of Gate No. 2 of the Commission, ‘We students have only one wish, the examination should be conducted in one shift.


Students are celebrating black day today

Competitive students are celebrating black day today. Kaushal Singh, President of Corruption Mukti Morcha, says that the competitive students are registering their protest by wearing black clothes on 13th November. Besides, their respective social media accounts have also been displayed in black colour.
