According to the police, a case has been registered against Gosal for inciting violence and attacking devotees. He has been asked to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. According to the information, this arrest took place on Friday (November 8). 

On November 3, Khalistan supporters held a demonstration outside the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, which quickly turned into violence. During this, the protesters attacked the Hindu Canadian devotees who had come to the temple using Khalistani flags and sticks. Several pictures and videos of the incident that took place near the temple went viral on social media in which protesters were seen scuffling with flags and hurting people. Police took the help of video to investigate the incident. A thorough investigation of the footage is underway to identify the suspects in the case.

It is said that after the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Gosal took over many major tasks of the Khalistani movement. Nijjar’s murder created a tense atmosphere between India and Canada after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Indian agents of involvement in the murder. India strongly denied this allegation. After this incident, India recalled six of its officials in Canada and also ordered six Canadian officials to leave the country.

According to the report of Hindustan Times, this attack on the Hindu Sabha temple was strongly criticized by the entire Indo-Canadian community. After this incident the Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a statement saying this "cowardly act" Called it a conspiracy to intimidate Indian diplomats. Condemning this attack, PM Modi said that such attacks cannot weaken India’s determination.  Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, opposition leader Pierre Poilievre, Toronto MP Kevin Wong and MP Chandra Arya also condemned the incident.

Tense situation in both the countries due to the attack
After this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear and anger among the Hindu community in Canada. The attack on the temple took place when a commercial camp organized by the Indian Consulate was being organized in the temple premises. During this, Khalistani supporters tried to disrupt the program due to which the situation became even more serious. Video footage showed protesters assaulting and attacking people with flags in the temple premises. This attack has further increased the tension in India-Canada relations and this incident is being discussed at political and social level in both the countries.

Anger in Hindu community and demand for security

He released a video and alleged that Khalistani supporters also attacked the women and children present in the temple. The Indian High Commission also condemned the incident and demanded local security arrangements in Canada for any future event.
