What possibilities has NCM expressed?
UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said that there is a possibility of storm in many areas of Al-Jouf in the next few days. Even the weather department has predicted heavy rain and hailstorm. After which visibility may reduce in the area and there are chances of strong winds along with these storms.
The Meteorological Department has linked the recent freezing rain in Al-Jawf to a low pressure originating from the Arabian Sea, which extends to Oman. This season has changed the weather by bringing moisture-laden air into normally dry areas.
