Delhi News: Politics has intensified in Delhi regarding the festival of faith, Chhath. In Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party is continuously demanding from the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi that permission should be given to celebrate Chhat on the banks of Yamuna, which was banned due to the Corona epidemic.

Aam Aadmi Party says that now the disease like Corona has now ended. The number of people coming from Purvanchal in Delhi is also very high. In such a situation, if permission is given to celebrate Chhath on the banks of Yamuna, then this festival can be celebrated in a more grand manner.

Lieutenant Governor did not approve
In fact, Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Burari Sanjeev Jha had written a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena some time ago, in this letter he sought permission from the Lieutenant Governor to celebrate Chhath on the banks of Yamuna. Aam Aadmi Party also raised this issue in the Assembly but till now the approval has not been received from the Lieutenant Governor.

BJP is doing dirty politics- AAP
On this Sanjeev Jha said that the grandeur of the puja on Yamuna is not happening. Yamuna used to get decorated for Chhath. On the day of puja, a different scene was seen on the banks of Yamuna. Accusing BJP, Sanjeev Jha said, due to BJP’s dirty politics, people are being deprived of the worship that used to be done on Yamuna Maiya. Before the Corona epidemic, the event was organized with great pomp on the banks of Yamuna.

BJP hit back
At the same time, on this entire controversy, BJP also raised questions on Aam Aadmi Party and cornered AAP on the issue of cleaning Yamuna. BJP MP Yogendra Chandauliya said that it is good that LG did not give permission to celebrate Chhath on the banks of Yamuna. Yamuna has become so polluted that if any person, whether male or female, goes and takes a dip in Yamuna, he will contract diseases. Skin related diseases may occur.

Yogendra Chandauliya said that when I went to Yamuna, foam spread all over my clothes and I became itchy. What will be the condition of the one who worships there? Aam Aadmi Party should thank LG Saheb for this.

‘Arvind Kejriwal should keep his promise’
Apart from this, Yogendra Chandauliya further said that BJP wants Arvind Kejriwal to fulfill the promise he had made that he will take a dip in Yamuna, and show it by taking a dip.
