Brazil wants to take relations with China to a new level

He told O Globo, a Brazilian newspaper, that Brazil wants to take its relations with China to a new level without tying into any contract. Due to this decision of Brazil, the plan to add Brazil to this initiative during the Chinese President’s visit to Brazil on November 20 failed.

Presidential Special Advisor Celso Amorim and Presidential Chief of Staff Rui Costa came to Beijing last week to discuss the initiative. But according to sources, he returned disappointed and disagreeing with China’s proposal.

India opposed CPEC

India was the first to refuse to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, which is being created with the aim of increasing China’s influence in the world as a basic investment by President Xi Jinping.
