According to media reports, around 253 AD, some part of this mountain broke, due to which this cave was formed. Let us tell you that its length is 196 feet, height is 431 feet and width is 187 feet. Since it is always surrounded by clouds due to its high altitude, perhaps for this reason people started calling it the door to heaven.

Years ago it was very difficult to reach here. People’s condition worsened while traveling through difficult roads. But now tourists can reach here using road and cable. You will be surprised to know, but let us tell you that the name of this cable way built at the world’s longest (24459 feet) and height is also recorded in the Guinness Books of World Records. But after getting down from the road and cable way, people have to climb 999 stairs to reach the cave, which is not an easy task. According to Chinese Tao philosophy, these 999 steps are the supreme number and symbolize the emperor. Seeing this cave amidst the clouds seems no less than a wonder.

During that time this waterfall was visible only for 15 minutes, after which it would disappear. However, gradually this waterfall completely disappeared and now no trace of it exists. By the way, let us tell you that not only in China but also in India, there is a cave which has 35000 stairs. This cave is in Chand Bawadi located in Abhaneri town in Dausa, Rajasthan. The length of this cave is about 17 km, which originates in the nearby village Bhandarej.
