100 Israeli fighter planes destroyed 20 military bases of Iran. This action took place more than three weeks in response to the Iranian attack. Regarding the attack on Iran, Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar said that Israel Defense Forces have attacked military targets in Iran with great precision. He said that when you attack Israel you have to pay a price.
Reuven Azar said in an interview in New Delhi on Saturday that Israel is always ready for a ceasefire. Israel wants Hamas to lay down its arms and release the hostages. He said, ‘Israel attacked military targets in Iran with great precision. We have disabled Iran’s air defense systems and destroyed missile capabilities, missile factories and other air capabilities that the Iranians possess. Iran has now been completely exposed. We have shown a lot. Obviously when you attack Israel you have to pay a price… Iran now knows very well that if it continues to attack Israel, any target in Iran can be reached. ‘
If Iran attacks again the consequences will be very bad
Reuven further said that if Iran attacks Israel again, the consequences will be very bad. So this is our clear message. If you stop attacking us, we will stop attacking you. We will continue to defend ourselves against any terrorist anywhere in the world, including Hamas, Hezbollah and inside Iran, but we are not interested in regional tensions.
Israel ready for ceasefire if Hamas lays down its arms and releases hostages
In the interview, Reuven responded calmly to questions on the war with Hamas. He said that Israel is ready to arrange the exit of Hamas from Gaza. He said, ‘Israel is always ready for a ceasefire. We want Hamas to lay down its arms and release the hostages. We are ready to arrange their exit from the Gaza Strip. We want to create a mechanism in the North by which the Security Council will pass resolutions. If they give us assurances then we can re-establish stability in the region.
India and Israel’s views on ceasefire match
Reuven thanked India for supporting Israel’s right to self-defense. He said that we are very encouraged by the fact that India has supported our right to self-defense. He said Israel is not trying to escalate the conflict, as Iran is doing. I think the views of India and Israel match here.
