Kannada actor and television host Kiccha Sudeep’s mother Saroja Sanjeev passed away on Sunday, October 20 at the age of 86. Saroja Sanjeev breathed her last around 7 am at Apollo Hospital in Jaynagar, where she was admitted for treatment of age-related health complications. Saroja’s health deteriorated further in the morning. Despite all efforts, doctors could not save Kiccha Sudeep’s mother.

Actor Kiccha Sudeep, who has a close bond with his family, has received condolences from fans, colleagues and people from the Kannada film industry at large. There is a flood of people paying tribute to the actor’s mother on social media. Kiccha Sudeep, known for his widespread influence in Kannada cinema, was reportedly with his mother during her last moments. Saroja Sanjeev was suffering from health problems for a long time and her condition had deteriorated in recent weeks.

Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka paid tribute
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar expressed his condolences to Sudeep on X (formerly Twitter). Posting a picture of Sudeep and Saroja, he wrote, ‘Heartbroken to hear the news of the demise of actor Kiccha Sudeep’s mother Smt. Saroja. I pray that his soul rests in eternal peace and may God grant Sudeep and his family the strength to bear this loss. Om Shanti.’

Kiccha Sudeep was very close to his mother.
Sudeep was very close to his mother Saroja. Over the past few years, he has often posted pictures with her on social media and wished her on Mother’s Day or her birthday. In 2019, she posted his picture and wrote about his ‘unconditional love’ while also thanking him for everything.
