The police reached the spot and pacified the angry people and as the protests increased, the police arrested the person who had made objectionable comments on social media.
Regarding this entire matter, Muzaffarnagar police posted on has been abolished. At present the traffic is running smoothly and the accused who posted objectionable posts against a community has been arrested by the Budhana police station taking prompt action.

On this whole matter, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aditya Bansal said that late night, an information was received at Budhana police station that a person resident of Budhana town has made some objectionable comments on a Facebook post. As soon as information was received that the comment had hurt the religious sentiments of a community, the man was arrested by the Budhana police station. While the interrogation was going on, a rumor spread that the police had released the man. Many people had gathered on this rumor but then they were explained that a case has been registered. After this the crowd left from here, law and order will not be allowed to be harmed in any way.
