Delhi News: A mother and son died in a fire in a house in Bholanath Nagar of Shahdara area of ​​Delhi on Friday (October 18) morning. Initial investigation has revealed that the fire started in the AC.

In fact, on Friday (October 18) at around 5.50 am, a fire was reported in a house in Farsh Bazar police station of Shahdara district. The police team and fire brigade immediately reached the spot and found that a flat on the third floor of a building was on fire. Six family members were present in the flat.

2 people remained inside
According to the people nearby, after the fire, 4 people somehow came out of the house but 2 people remained inside. The fire brigade team reached the spot, rescued both of them and took them to the hospital, where both of them died. Both those who died were mother and son.

There was a fire in the AC room
Manish Gupta lives with his family in this flat. His family consists of his parents, wife and two children, a boy and a girl. The fire broke out early Friday morning. According to the information received so far, the fire first started in a room in which the AC was installed and within no time the fire took a terrible turn and reduced the entire house to ashes.

After the fire, Manish Gupta, his parents and daughter somehow came out but Manish’s wife Shilpi Gupta (42) and son Pranav Gupta (16) could not come out.

the road there is very narrow

According to the people living nearby, the fire brigade team was late in arriving because the road to the flat where the fire broke out is very narrow. The abuses are minor. That’s why the fire brigade team reached late. At present the police have registered the case and investigation is going on.
