Israel Gaza war: In the Israel-Hamas war that has been going on for the last one year, the Israeli Army achieved a major success and killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in an airstrike on October 17. This has been confirmed by the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself. He addressed the nation giving information about the death of the most dreaded leader of Hamas. He said that we have eliminated evil, but the work is not complete yet. We did exactly what we had promised that we would kill the leader of Hamas. In his address, the Israeli PM termed the release of hostages as his highest commitment. He said that we will continue to work with all our strength till his return home. Apart from this, the PM also gave a message to the people of Gaza.

Netanyahu said that Sinwar has ruined your life. He told you that he was a lion, but in reality he was hiding in a den and when he got scared and ran away from us, he was killed by the soldiers. The Jewish leader termed Sinwar’s death as the fall of Hamas’ bad rule and called it an important milestone for Israel.

Yahya Sinwar is considered the mastermind of the attack carried out by Hamas on Israel last year on October 7, 2023. In this connection, on October 17, Israel had killed three people, including one Sinwar. This was confirmed when the Israeli army matched the DNA of the Hamas leader. Yahya Sinwar was the head of the militant organization Hamas. He took over as head of Hamas after Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an explosion in Iran during the war with Israel. Sinwar was born in Gaza refugee camp in 1962. He was associated with Hamas since its early days.
