MG Motors Launches Windsor EV, Starting Price Rs 9.99 Lakh, Range, Battery, Features

New launches are continuously taking place in the electric vehicles (EV) market. In this series, MG Motors introduced Windsor EV on Wednesday. Its starting price is Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). MG Motors’ EV range in the country includes the Comet and ZS.

With the Windsor EV, MG Motors has offered battery-as-a-service. This battery rental option will reduce the cost of the vehicle and users will have to pay only for the use of the battery. Bookings for Windsor EV will start from October 3 and deliveries will start from October 12. Reclining seats are provided in its rear. The Windsor EV has a 15.6″ touchscreen on its dashboard. Along with this, an 8.8 inch digital display has been provided for the driver.

It also has features like automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, powered driver seat and panoramic glass roof. Its 38 kWh battery generates 136 PS power and 200 Nm torque. Its range on a single charge is approximately 331 kilometers. Initial customers of Windsor EV will be given full warranty on the battery.
