Dehradun ruckus between two parties over couple who come to meet at railway station

Dehradun News: There was a fierce fight between the two parties at Dehradun railway station late on Thursday night. The matter escalated so much that stone pelting started from both sides and trains and other goods standing at the station were also vandalized. As per reports of the incident, the police reached the spot, after which the crowd was dispersed by lathi charge. Meanwhile, there was a lot of tension between the parties. The police somehow tried to convince both the parties.

It is being told that this matter is related to the love affair of a young man and a girl from two different communities of Badaun. According to the police, on Thursday night a young man named Ajay Singh was roaming at the railway station with a 16-year-old girl. When the RPS became suspicious, he was interrogated, but he did not give a satisfactory answer.

A fierce fight between the two parties
After which RPF made both of them sit in the office and contacted the girl’s family. Investigation revealed that the girl had come to Dehradun from her home a day before without informing. Whose missing person is registered in Badaun police station. When the girl’s family members got the information, they left for Dehradun with the UP Police. Meanwhile, because the matter was related to two communities, some people started creating ruckus.

After which both the sides came face to face and a ruckus started. Within no time the situation escalated to such an extent that stone pelting started from both sides. After which the police reached the spot and the situation was controlled, the police even had to resort to lathicharge to control the crowd. SSP Dehradun himself is patrolling the area with the police force. People trying to spread anarchy are being identified by the police.

In this case, a case is being registered under 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act along with serious sections in Kotwali Nagar, Dehradun. CCTV footage and videos are being collected by the police in connection with the incident after which further action will be taken.
