Jharkhand News: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Jharkhand Police said on Wednesday that it has arrested two ISIS members from Godda and Hazaribagh districts of the state. Both were booked under relevant provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC). ATS said in a release that Mohammad Ariz Hussain, a resident of Asanbani area of ​​Godda district, used to contact youths on social media platforms and allegedly persuade them to work with him. He was arrested on the basis of a secret information.

According to the release, Naseem, a resident of Pelawal area of ​​Hazaribagh, has also been arrested. ‘Suspicious chats’ with Hussain were detected from his mobile phone. According to the Anti-Terrorism Squad, these two accused were misleading innocent people and linking them to the organization. Both have been found involved in anti-national activities. An FIR was registered by ATS regarding the matter on November 2.

The accused were in contact with many organizations of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
According to ATS information, Naseem and Ariz Hasnain have been sent to Bayth i.e. initiation of ISI organization. Both of them were also in contact with many terrorist organizations of Pakistan and Afghanistan. During the investigation, it was revealed that their aim was to go to Palestine and liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa from the Jews by carrying out a suicide attack. Naseem even started promoting it among his colleagues by watching videos of terrorist organizations.

To fulfill this objective in the year 2022, he also came in contact with Kashmiri young men and women. Which is now being investigated by ATS. Many evidences have also been found from the arrested accused of creating tension between two communities, sending messages to many people, besides glorifying terrorist organizations.
